07:15 Pre-Round on Patients

• Review events from previous night
• Assess patients
• Work rounds with senior resident

08:15 Chief Resident Morning Report (over breakfast)

• Case presentation
• Discussion of learning and management issues
• Medical Jeopardy once a month

09:00 Attending Rounds

• Approximately six hours per week
• Case Presentations
• Teaching in team room and at bedside

12:00 Noon Conference (over lunch)

• Subspecialty or General Medicine Attendings
• Journal Club on Thursdays (catered)

15:00 Sign-Out Rounds

17:00 End of Day
