Mercy Medical Center / University of Maryland First Year ResidencyMercy interns may opt to spend one session (three hours) per week in the hospital's Health Centers of Baltimore. They are complemented by University of Maryland junior and senior medical students and residents completing their outpatient experience.

In this setting, house officers have the opportunity to follow their service patients after discharge. A full-time attending internist is present to supervise and teach during each ambulatory session.
