Mercy Medical Center / University of Maryland First Year ResidencyThe Department of Medicine has a large in-house teaching staff in general Internal Medicine and its subspecialties. Key attendings have volunteer faculty appointments at the University of Maryland.

Faculty based at Mercy and the University of Maryland conduct subspecialty conferences. For Medical Grand Rounds, an attempt is made to recruit nationally recognized speakers from around the country as well as from local medical institutions.
